SeaFood Bar & Market is definitely a worth-visiting place on the map of Wroclaw. The address is: 12 Mikolaja Street. It’s opened every day, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, and from 9 a.m. to midnight from Friday to Saturday.
It’s a bar serving seafood dishes in a street-food concept. At the restaurant you can eat fresh seafood, drink beer from local breweries and try wine from reliable suppliers. In addition, in the restaurant you can find a mini market and buy there fresh seafood and fish by weight.
The prices for breakfast oscillate around 10 zł for a different kind of fish sandwiches and around 20 zł for a fried breakfast, which is a shrimp shakshouka. You can also get a no-limit coffee refill for 12 zł.
The price for a fish or laksa soup is about 17 zł. You can buy a main dish for about 30 zł and there are a lot of seafood variations to try, like: lobster & shrimp roll, scallop sandwich, mussels with white wine sauce and a lot more delicious dishes. You can even choose your own fish from their market and they can prepare it the way you like the most.
When it comes to beverages, they have a wide choice of cold & hot drinks for 7-10 zł and alcohols for about 13 zł for a glass.
SeaFood Bar & Market is a very popular restaurant. But you don’t have to worry that there will be no place to sit, because the restaurant area consists of two floors, so there’s a lot of space there and the service is really fast for a place like that.
I really recommend this place, because the food is extremely fresh and delicious. So if you are a true sea food lover, don’t hesitate and visit this marine restaurant.
There is no thing like eat a dinner exactly same as in home when you are far away. There`s also no thing like taste traditional or just casual domestic polish food so that`s a good offer for foreigners to try flavours of Poland. I have chosen two bars which serves best home dinner in city centre. Two bars with similarly offer but quite different. These are rather popular places so if one of them is full, the second one is only 70 meters away just around the corner.
Bar Miś (Teddy Bear)
Adress: Kuźnicza 48
If you would like to try casual polish delicious pork chop with potatoes, coleslaw and almost perfect tomato soup you should go to Miś Bar. Abundant offer includes among others:
– tomato soup with pasta or rice
– barley soup
– mushroom soup with pasta
– sorrel soup with egg
– dumplings (!) with potato and cottage cheese stuffing
– various dumplings with no translation to English called pierogi, kopytka, kluski, knedle
– apple drop scones
– bunch of salads
– bean with carrot
– fried beetroot
– cucumber salad
– potaotes, buckwheat or rice
Fresh meat dishes:
– pork chop
– meat patty
– poultry chop
– chicken filet
– beef stew
– meat balls with muschroom sauce
And many others.
First of all, the best of all is price. You need to pay much lower than you expect. Soups are about 1,10 to 1,70zł (~0,3 EUR). Full dish includes for example soup, potatoes, some dumplings, chicken filer and salad costs 13zł (~3 EUR). And trust me, the servings are big. It`s propably no opportunity to leave local being hungry.
As a result, familar atmosphere, low prices and really tasty domestic food causes for many clients that Bar Miś is their beloved.
Second option is Bar Misz-Masz. The one important thing what differs these two bars is that Misz-Masz is self-service. You`re bring the plate and puts what you want on it, then you need to weigh your plate and pay 3zł (0,7 EUR) per 100 grams, so that means full 0,5kg dinner costs you 15zł (3,5 EUR). Ain`t no cheaper places like these two. Bar Misz-Masz offers one soup of a day and also serves good Polish food but not only. Menu is similar to Miś but extended with dishes like:
– spicy chicken
– chcicken in sweet and sour sauce
– poultry shoarma
Dishes are as good as in Bar Miś. Price is really low and you are able to take as much food as you want. Student have an extra 10% discount any time and even more, everybody pays half of price in last 30 minutes nearly closing the local.
So if you are hungry in centre of Wroclaw next to main square these two options allows you to eat tasty dinner in suprisely low price. I think you have to try its food. Huge recomendation from me. You surely won`t be disappointed.
Best burgers in Wroclaw that will blow your mind. Not a real fan of experimenting with tastes? No worries, we tried those places for you!
If you’re not a big fan of experimenting with tastes and You like to visit fast-food restaurants (who doesn’t!), that should be a very handy guide for you to find a nice place to eat and drink. Actually, I’m going to present 3 of my favourite places to try yummy burgers. And NO! It’s not about McDonald’s, KFC, or Burger King.
The thing that matters the most are obviously the ingredients, especially the meat and degree of its doneness. And believe me, after trying out those, you gonna cross out McDonald’s from your list FOREVER!
*The following order is random, I would recommend you to try all, to find your perfect burgers 🙂
It’s probably the first place, I’ve got an occasion to change my mind about regular burgers. Place by itself looks very cosy and modern. It’s distinguished by a unique taste of bread rolls. The menu offers 22 different burgers so you can definitely find something ideal for your needs. Beef is often served perfectly roasted, but there is an option to choose a degree of meat doneness – rare, medium or well. Moreover, every week the restaurant offers ‘The Burger of the Week’ which is announced on their website.
The company has its origins in food trucks, they originally started with a single truck in 2013 to grow into several restaurants around whole city. This genuine truck called ‘Dziadziu’ is still in use as the best memento and it stands vis a vis a shopping mall Arkady Wroclawskie.
Where to find: Powstancow Slaskich 5, Wrocław
Monday – Sunday 12:00 – 19:00
You can buy burgers there as well, although the menu might be a bit different than the one in the standalone restaurants. For example, they do not serve any potato chips there, only nachos. Moreover, on the site there is a small area with a few more food trucks which offer a big variety of products. It’s a very cool place to eat and chill with friends open air.
There are 2 restaurants located near marketplace so in case of crowd, you can try your luck by walking around 800m to the other place (8 minutes).
Pasibus serves around 15 different kind of burgers with different level of spiciness and many sorts of side dishes and appetizers. They will also prepare meat by doneness of your choice.
As a drink, I would recommend one called ‘Dobry Towar’. It’s produced locally in Wroclaw, all 100% natural, without weird add-ons.
This restaurant serves around 12 different burgers among which are such classics as a cheeseburger. There are a few inspired by countries, like ‘Polish Burger’, Canadian Burger’ or ‘Italian Burger’, characterised by different sets of ingredients matching best known vegetables and sauces from around the world.
The restaurant is located vis a vis ‘Nowe Horyzonty’ cinema, which is almost in the middle distance between two Pasibus restaurants – in case you would change your mind in the middle of the walk 🙂
Hala Targowa is a traditional a place of trade and meetings of residents.
A traditional place for shopping Hala Targowa (Wroclaw) – designed by Richard Plüddemann and Heinrich Küster.
Hala Targowa was built in 1908 and it is a valuable engineering monument. The design was very modern, the construction was supported on reinforced concrete arches, what gave the building a high durability. The external elevation is partly made of bricks, whereas from the south it is plastered. The window frames were made of steel. The building has two towers and a clock. The building has 4 floors, the most important is the main hall and the gallery surrounding it. In the cellars there are freezers and butchers’ rooms where there is quartered the meat. The hall towers are unfortunately not available for tourists. Many architectural elements of the Hala Targowa have been written in the list of the monuments. Starting from the main portals made of sandstone in the art nouveau style, through bas-reliefs, urban coat of arms, clocks. Ending with balustrades, stairs and even crates of meat stands also made in the art nouveau style.
Now Hala Targowa is a traditional a place of trade and meetings of residents.
After entering the main hall on the left side, you can find a few very large stands with fruits and vegetables, on the right there are meat, bakeries and dairy products. There are several stands with traditional products from Spain and Portugal. You can buy not only regional products but also high quality Spanish hams or feta cheese. You can buy here bread baked on natural sourdough, spelt buns, soy mingers, cold pressed oils, herbs and spices, birch juice. In the further part there are many stands with flowers and floristic accessories. There is a cash machine at the entrance, but for the majority of stands there is a possibility you to pay by a card. Apart from shopping, there are a few cheap bars and cafes in the hall, and a restaurant with a craft beer in front of the entrance. In the hall gallery there are stands with chemical and household articles. In front of the building there is a tram stop (lines 8,7,17,9,23) next to it there are a few parking places, however, it is the best to walk on this part of the city.

They are the most famous burger reastaurant in Wrocław. Started from one food truck in 2013 which was standing vis a vis shopping mall Arkady Wrocławskie. In really short time information about yummy burgers circled the entire city. Right now they have four food trucks, nine reastaurants (in Wrocław, Warsaw and Gdańsk) and own-production place.
This is real mexican food! They have started from food truck in 2014. After big succes (big as their big-ass burrito) Panczo became bigger. Through collaboration with craft beer pub 4Hops, to own location – mexican tex-mex reastaurant with fancy drinks and craftbeer. One week ago they have opened Panczo Breakfast Place – new point on Wrocław gastronomy map situated on Wita Stwosza street.
Interesting concept about asia-fusion cuisine. The most famous dish – pulled pork butter bao is know and loving in whole Poland. Their food truck is standing on Borowska street, local was opened two years after on Włodkowica 27. They also opened production place and started with breakfast offer. Can we predict that the other location will be open soon?
Do you want something sweet for a dessert? Krasnolód is known as the bestice-cream place in whole city! Their little food truck with craft flavours (like prosecco with coconut or stout-beer sorbet) have just stolen our hearts totally. Their first location was opened one year ago on Komuny Paryskiej street and from the second half on July they are also on Włodkowica street.
Is it a trend in our city?
Food trucks are really strong trend in Wrocław. Also it is good way to start your own company with small financial outlay. According to examples you can see that they could be succesfull and became an icons in gastro world. So, are you planning to open one?
In the last few years, Wrocław has changed instantly . There are a lot of new bars, pubs and even vegan shop that have opened up. Not only the number of vegetable spots, but also their diversity and the exceptional quality of served food delights. Veganism is getting more and more fashonable nowadays. Here are a few suggestions that any potential customer can confirm in the belief that it is worth looking into these places because of this type of vegan food in Wroclaw.
The first suggestion is food at the Żyzna restaurant on Nożownicza 37 Street in Wrocław. This is a top of the class vegetable bistro- let’s try to imagine that. The cousine surprises even more with creative, inspiring and refined meals in the smallest detail. Every two weeks you can find seasonal dishes with the best ingredients. In the menu you can find: marinated watermelon (in summer); dumplings with plums, thyme and tofu (in autumn) and steaks of celery and potato puree (in winter). This is one of the most unique places in Wroclaw and even all over Poland. The only drawback is better to come to Żyzna ealier or before coming to call, because in the evening there may not be all the dishes. It presents that the local food is delicious and also fresh.
Another but also strong suggestion is Wilk Syty on Trzebnicka 3 we Wrocławiu. This is a newly created place. In a short time thousands of Wroclawians became addicted to each other. Here you will find classic dishes that have been vegan and then flavored with an amazing imagination’s staff. It’s a great place for dinner with parents. It’s possible that especially fathers and uncles can change their minds after visit in this kind of place. The local dishes from seitan are Wroclaw export: vegan bacon, meatballs, burgers, and even greaves on potato dumplings. In spite of meals, customers can eat here some of the best vegan cakes in Poland – a rolling poppy seed cake with meringue.
Vegan food in Wroclaw
The last proposition is Vega Restaurant which is located on Rynek 27a we Wrocławiu. This place can not be missing in any vegan guide around Wroclaw and should be heard about it all over Poland. This is the oldest vegetarian bar in Poland, which has been operating since 1987 in the middle of the Town Hall in Wroclaw! As if these attractions were not enough, VEGA changed the decoration four years ago and became a completely vegan place and still feeds just as well. At lunchtime you can see a lot of workers and employees of the Town Hall, who come to visit. The menu on the ground floor is close to grandma’s dinners and also traditional cuisine of milk bars. There are also meaty soups, salads and compote on the menu. Depending on what you want, you can sit either on the ground floor or on the first floor.

Due the international popularity of this unique Japanese soup in past few years, It became easier to find restaurants that serve this special. Right now, every big city has at least one restaurant that serve it. Ramen quickly became so called “comfort food” due its unique combination of rich soup and almost a full meal in one bowl. Every Ramen is different, all depends on the ingredients that you use for it. Broth can be rich and meaty, light and delicate or even completely vegan, all depends on the way you prepare it. Another thing that can differentiate ramens is what “floats” in your soup. Every ramen shop can use completely different pasta, some of them are even making their own. Also, they can serve different toppings on their soup, so it opens doors of countless combinations of tastes.
Ramen in Wroclaw? Where?
Here in Wroclaw we have at lest few interesting places to visit if you want to try Ramen. But this time I’m gonna focus on one specific place, which I find the best for first-time ramen experience.
First Place I would recommend to everybody who want to try it for the first time, it also my favorite place from all, it’s PANda Ramen. It’s almost perfect kind of westernized Ramen shop. First, they serve few kinds of Ramen here. On their standard menu they serve 3 kinds of soup, rich (on meat base), light (also on meat base but different) and Vegan. Besides that they have 3 other kinds of ramen soup that are serve in specific days of the week. For example, on Tuesday and Wednesday they have “PANda curry” which is spicy, curry based broth. Every Soup comes in 2 sizes, small for around 20 zlotych, and big for around 30 zlotych. While ordering, you can choose extra toppings for your soup. First 3 toppings are included in the price, next ones are paid extra. But hey! You can take as much as you want!
Besides soup, they also serve 3 kinds of Gyoza dumplings and all kinds of Asian salads like kimchi or gomma wakame . If you feel extra hungry, you can order full lunche set. The location is also great. This ramen shop is in the center of old town, 2 minutes from the centre and it’s open for every day.
Not feeling so good today? Wanna stay at home? Good news, PANda ramen (and it’s sister restaurant, PANda Sushi) is delivering tasty soup directly to your doorstep. I highly recommend visiting this place if you want to at least try this new “comfort food” trend yourself!
